Listening transcript:

Florist: Hi. May I help you?

Ryan: Yeah. You know spring is coming. It’s time to decorate the classroom. So I’d like to buy some plants. 

Florist: Ok. What kind of plants would you like?

Ryan: I have no idea. I don't know too much about plants. Our classroom faces south. Can you recommend something?

Florist: Well, you can choose some plants in a small size. By the way, do you have time to water it often?

Ryan: Oh, I am afraid not. We are always busy.

Florist: I got it. Let me see, what about cactus?

Ryan: I know that cactus is a plant with strong life force. It sounds quite suitable for me.

Florist: Yes, it can tolerate low temperatures and drought. So I recommend  watering just once a month.  

Ryan: Okay. And I heard that it also prefers the sun. Do I need to put it in a place with enough sunlight?

Florist: Yes. Keeping it in a well-lit place might be a good idea. But remember to keep it away from direct sunlight.

Ryan: I see. I see. How much is it?

Florist: Twenty yuan.
